WHY WEAVING ?
Weaving is a necessary step after the deconstructing because the emergence of new patches may further aggravate the landscape fragmentation,which would be contrary to the intent of this project. As a result, it is necessary to weave and connect the new patches with the original patches related to them.
Using different “wools”to weave different patches:





After a few years, the habitats of nonhuman communities are almost connected and there are no obvious edges to restrict their migration in the site. The biodiversity is also improved.
Distribution of wildlife:

People's mobility is enhanced; at the same time, people's scope of activities is no longer limited by the patch edges.
